Cyan electric taxis bring fixed wages and app discounts to Copenhagen

Copenhagen commuters can now ride in new cyan-colored electric taxis operated by Green SM. The company offers transparent app pricing and 25 percent off five rides. CPH Post reports that the service improves customer care by supporting drivers.

Unlike traditional taxi models based on commissions, Green SM directly employs its drivers. Drivers receive standard Danish employment contracts and fixed hourly wages. Shifts are capped at eight hours instead of twelve hours. This system gives drivers financial security and proper rest.

All drivers undergo training in driving skills and customer care. Drivers now offer services like opening car doors for passengers. The company operates a fully electric fleet in Copenhagen. Electric cars reduce noise pollution and carbon emissions in the city.

Passengers can check trip prices before booking through the Green SM app. The app also generates automatic digital receipts for easy expense tracking. This service offers a comfortable option for daily city travel and airport trips.
