The Refugee Appeals Board published its annual report recently. The report shows increased processing times in 2025 for asylum appeals.
The board handles appeals for seekers rejected by the Danish Immigration Service. Average processing times for spontaneous cases reached 166 days in 2025.
In 2024, the average wait was 113 days. In 2023, it was only 98 days. The board missed its target timeline due to increasing case complexity.
