Stockholm to Host Free Catalan Culture Festival in August 2026

Stockholm will host a major free outdoor festival in August 2026. Residents can enjoy free cultural performances in the city center. The event brings vibrant street activities to central Stockholm.

The 38th International Gathering of Catalan Culture runs from August 13 to 16, 2026. More than 1,200 international performers will join the celebration. A total of 42 folk groups will participate in the events.

Visitors can watch traditional Catalan human towers called castells. The festival also features sardana dances and street parades. These outdoor activities offer great weekend choices for local families and students.
